Don't Drop the Baby

We attended our second of four parenting classes on Saturday. This particular class was about basic infant care and safety which is always handy information. Along with 10 other couples, we learned about feeding, diapering, healthcare, safety etc. Although the information presented was a blend of common sense and "hmm..that's interesting" material, I was a bit disappointed in the way the class was structured. All we did was sit and listen to an RN lecture this information. I was hoping for a bit more interaction and hands-on kind of experiences, but then again I can't help but analyze teaching styles. Oh well, we at least have some helpful resources and were able to meet with two other couples adopting from South Korea. Our next class will probably be in June.
