Lord,
Please free my heart from envy. I do not mean to be jealous of them, nor do I want to be jealous. I do not fully know what their life is like on a daily basis -- their joys, their struggles, or even their regrets -- so I shouldn't hold envy in my heart when my perspective is so limited. Help me to see that the life path you have for them, is not the life path you have for us and that is o.k.. In spite of this, help me to see the beauty in our path and the great possibility for joy that it holds...even if it is not immediately evident.
